Welcome to Healthy Goals UK CIC
The aim of the Healthy Goals Lifestyle programme is to use sport as a fun tool to allow young people to develop knowledge of key areas:
* Respect for their peers
* The link between exercise and the benefits of a balanced healthy diet
* Identifying the many forms of bullying and how to support friends
* Working as a member of a team
* Improve self confidence and self esteem in learning new skills
* Understand the importance of school attendance
The programme runs over a six week period and covers a variety of subjects aimed at developing a good understanding of how to get the best of of life, and how important it is to set good standards in eating and exercise.
The children are shown and taught important facts not just about sport, but how they should behave towards other people. The programme covers:
* Your Body and Activity/Health Assessment
* Team Work
* Healthy Eating
* Bullying
* School Attendance
* Health Assessment
Healthy Body Assessment
At the start of the Healthy Goals Programme each child will undergo a healthy body assessment. The assessment will be carried out on state of the art equipment which measures your bodies health.
